This is Braunbeck's latest release through Cemetary Dance.

Absolutely BRILLIANT. Some people have said that this is Braunbeck's best
book to date. It very well may be. I'm partial to IN SILENT GRAVES, but
that may be b/c it was the first Braunbeck book that I read.

Also, I noticed that there is no synopsis/plot teaser on the back cover of
the book. I don't know about everyone else, but I really like that idea.
Especially in a limited edition hardcover. I figure if you're willing to
shell out $40 for a book, you're a big enough fan of that particular author
to read the book regardless of the plot. Instead of a synopsis, there is
just a Tim Lebbon blurb.

I'll just say that it is a very intense book, both violent AND touching.
Braunbeck at his best. Fully fleshed characters as well, which is this
author's strong suit.

Jason

now reading Edogawa Rampo's "Japanese Tales of Mystery and Imagination."
I've read "The Human Chair" by him and loved it. I also just received a dvd
called "Rampo Noir," which has 4 short movies based on his stories, so I
decided to try out this collection first
