I thought this one was just average.  I'm surprised that it is so highly 
praised.  It kept reminding me of Michael Laimo's DEEP IN THE DARKNESS, 
which I remember liking a little bit more.

The version that I read is the longer, author's preferred edition.  Maybe 
I'd like the edited version better...I don't know

anyway, on to Simon Clark's DEATH'S DOMINION.
