Please excuse this off-topic post. This is for a good cause: pediatric brain
tumor research. Without further ado, here's the official announcement....

Hi, this is supernatural thriller author John Passarella. For the past four
years, as part of our Matthew's Miles fundraiser ( www.matthewsmiles.org ),
my family has held a walkathon and auction to raise money for pediatric
brain tumor research. In three years, we have raised over $65,000. This year
we will again donate all proceeds from the walkathon and auction to the
Children's Cancer Foundation ( www.childrenscancerfoundation.com ), a
501(c)(3) non-profit. All donations (and winning bid amounts) are tax
deductible to the extent allowed by law.

This year we have a smaller online auction at eBay. Our items are: a LAURELL
K. HAMILTON book/T-shirt/plush/toy/jewelry bundle, a signed 8x10 photo of
Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor of TV's SMALLVILLE), and a signed copy of
NICHOLAS SPARKS'S forthcoming novel, DEAR JOHN.
