Let's see. Awoken from a prehistoric sleep sounds like the two I
recently read by Thomas P. Hopp: Dinosaur Wars and Dinosaur Wars:
Counterattack.
While not the strongest on characters, Hopp hooked me with the action on
page 1 of each book. There is enough "horror" that they aren't really
kids books (YA maybe).
Clickers is excellent, and better than many of the Brit school
monsters--more "American".
