Very well written alien novel.  I also read his "nonfiction" book, Communion, which details his alien encounters.

 

now reading Simon Clark's GHOST MONSTER.  I think this is Clark's make-or-break novel for me.  I've read 10 of his books, and have REALLY liked only 5 of them.  Most of the ones that I didn't like are the newer ones (with Death's Dominion as an exception).
