Ok, I REALLY loved McLaughlin's collection, Once Upon a Slime.  It is a collection of all of Mark's World Horror Convention gross-out contest entries.

 

That collection is hilarious and different.  This short collection here felt like a "B-sides" collection of McLaughlin stories.

 

McLaughlin is still a very fun read though
