I think I'm going to blacklist Simon Clark.  I've read exactly 10 of his books, and I've only enjoyed 5 (Darkness Demands, Stranger, Blood Crazy, Vampyrrhic, and Death's Dominion).  The rest of them (mostly his newer stuff) is bad.

 

Ghost Monster is a subpar offering from Clark.  The writing itself wasn't bad, I just thought the plot was boring.  It is about a mosaic in a mausoleum that holds an evil spirit.  

 

You can imagine the rest of the story....mosaic is destroyed....evil spirits are loose, etc...

 

It is all very cliche' and tiresome.
