I haven't read horror in a little while, which is why I haven't written any reviews lately. I was on an Orson Scott Card kick with the Ender series. (which were very good by the way) In any case, THE WOMAN was very good. If you have an e-reader, it'll only cost you $10. Otherwise, you're stuck with the very pricey limited edition. the story is somewhat similar to The Girl Next Door, which may be the reason I like it so much. I'm not sure how much input McKee had on the story, but it definitely reads like a Ketchum story. Highly recommended. I know there is a film based on the book out there too, which is causing a minor uproar Jason Now reading Matheson's Other Kingdoms -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Anyone read it yet? I thought it was good. Not great, but good. Reminded me a little of EARTHBOUND, except replace the ghost lover with a fairy lover. It's essentially an adult fairy tale, and doesn't read at all like a typical Matheson book. Jeff Strand is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. PRESSURE and DWELLER are two of the best books I've ever read, PERIOD...and he released those almost back-to-back. I have WOLFHUNT on deck too, and that one has received good reviews, so I'm looking forward to that one as well.
